Chapter I: Removing the NES circuit board

Part 3: Removing the cartridge caddy

The Cartridge Caddy is a name I gave to the black piece of plastic that holds tha game cartridge in NES. (pictured below) Remove the 6 screws holding the cartridge caddy to the NES circuit board.


Now remove any remaining screws that hold the NES circuit board in the bottom half of the NES casing, and carefully lift the NES board up and slide the cartridge caddy off the front of the NES board.
