Part 5: Removing the Cartridge Connector

Now that you have removed the RF shielding, very carefully pull the cartridge connector from the NES board.


This connector was poorly designed, so that it wears out very quickly. If you have a blinking NES this most likely the reason! The NESp does not use this connector, and will play even dirty games with out blinking! You can take an old blinking NES and use it to make a NESp, and give it new life! Damn I have hairy arms!
